How to run an MTR
If you're encountering issues with reaching our networks or connectivity issues, we will need you to send us an MTR. An MTR is a report which helps us identify where a network issue is so we can resolve it as soon as possible.
- If you're on Windows, download WinMTR from here. If you're on Linux, use your package manager to install MTR. If you're not sure how to do this, try "apt install mtr" or "yum install mtr".
- Enter the IP address that you're having troubles connecting to. This can be the IP of the game node, VPS or dedicated server.
- Let the MTR run for 15 minutes or longer. Make sure that it is running when you experiencing the issue, otherwise, we won't notice anything unusual. The longer you run the MTR, the better and easier it is for us to identify an issue.
- Share the result of the MTR and your IP address with us within a ticket.
We'll forward the information to our IP transit provider who can resolve the problem.
